As a User Experience professional, she's spent nearly three decades crafting journeys that feel intuitive, meaningful, and emotionally satisfying. Now, she's brought those same skills to epic fantasy, creating characters and a world that feels as real as the people you pass on the street.
From Digital Worlds to Fantasy Realms
"Understanding user experience taught me that the best stories aren't about the destination, they're about making every step of the journey feel inevitable and earned," Nicole explains. "Whether I'm designing an app or building a fantasy world, it's all about creating experiences that honor the intelligence and emotional investment of the people engaging with them."
Terros: Two Years in the Making
What began as fragments of imagination, a shadow prince, separated twins, political intrigue hiding behind prophecy, grew into something that demanded meticulous world-building. Nicole spent over two years developing the complex magic systems, political structures, and character relationships that form the foundation of her world Terros.

"I approach world-building the same way I approach UX design," she says. "Every element has to serve a purpose, every rule has to be consistent, and every characters journey has to feel authentic. Readers are incredibly smart, they deserve stories that respect their intelligence."
Shattered Fates: A Debut Built on Deep Understanding
Nicole's first novel, Shattered Fates, launches in September 2026 through DestinyRift Press. While she may be a first-time author, her understanding of human nature, complex systems, and emotional storytelling runs deep. The Thread of Fate series promises to deliver the kind of intelligent, character-driven epic fantasy that treats readers as collaborators in an extraordinary journey.
