The Anchored are influential citizens, council members, and preservationists who have watched six prophecy attempts fail over two thousand years. To them, the pattern is clear: prophecies bring destruction, not salvation.

Their name reflects their philosophy—they are anchored to preserving what exists rather than risking everything on prophecy's promise. When whispers speak of twins born under shattered stars, The Anchored see only one solution: end the threat before it can end their world.

But fear makes people easy to manipulate, and not everything The Anchored believe is born from their own conclusions...
